Fushiguro Starts Raising Kids

Fushiguro Chinatsu is a game architect from the interstellar era.

When a bug appears in the game she built, she needs a large number of low-level monsters to fill in the gaps and complete the data. She seeks out her counterpart in the Jujutsu Kaisen world and proposes a deal.

And so she becomes Ms. Fushiguro and takes over raising two little ones.

In Saitama Prefecture, the Fushiguro family's good-for-nothing dad disappears, and the family's pillar, their mother, decides to run away too. She leaves behind a note and some money, with only six-year-old Fushiguro Megumi and his eight-year-old sister, Tsumiki, at home.

Just as the children have no choice but to accept reality and start living frugally, their mother suddenly comes home!

It's just that Mom seems a little different...

Fushiguro Megumi, who can see curses, stares wide-eyed as his mother takes out a glass jar and delightedly stuffs a curse inside, then carries it home like a treasure.

Tsumiki asks, confused, "What's in the jar?"

Fushiguro Chinatsu smiles. "Oh, it's a little sprite."

Fushiguro Megumi rolls his eyes. "Liar. It's obviously some weird curse."

After taking over the mess and moving with the two children to a safe new home, Fushiguro Chinatsu gets a call one day from an assistant supervisor at Jujutsu High, telling her to come collect a body.

Looking at the battered corpse, which is missing most of its upper body, Fushiguro Chinatsu bends down and pats the children's heads. "This is probably what happens when a dad abandons his family."

After the corpse is processed from start to finish at the crematorium, all that's left is a small urn of ashes. Fushiguro Chinatsu buries the urn in the yard, and come autumn, she harvests a free laborer.

Fushiguro Chinatsu, who now runs a rather unusual convenience store, puts him to work. "Toji, go straighten up the shelves. And remember to take the kids to school later."
