Miyano Toki is a demon chef, but the food she makes causes people to see their deepest desires turn into their worst fears.
One day, a System binds itself to her. It says that an important character in a certain worldline has too little happiness, causing the original story to veer off course. They need a demon chef like her, who can bring happiness through food, to help save him.
In a desperate rush, the System doesn't have time to check the details. It dumps the original worldline and all the important story events into Miyano Toki's head, then runs out of energy and goes dormant.
After arriving in Yokohama, Miyano Toki is silent for three seconds, then decides to improvise.

She brings a bowl of cream of mushroom soup to the underground doctor who took her in.
That night, the despondent Dr. Mori is plunged into a terrifying nightmare. Under the Three-Part Plan, Yokohama becomes a meat grinder of war, with outside forces and internal conflict madly reaping the lives of everyone who sets foot on its soil.
After waking from the nightmare, Dr. Mori pulls himself together, but also starts avoiding the food Miyano Toki makes.
Miyano Toki is a little disappointed, but recently she's made a new friend with reddish-brown hair.
She brings over some soy-braised beef. Her new friend is delighted and shares it with the other members of the Sheep organization. That afternoon, nightmares descend upon the Sheep, and the teenage self-defense group teeters on the brink of disbanding.
The King of the Sheep, betrayed by his own people, sends Miyano Toki out the door with a complicated expression.

After experiencing a whole series of bizarre accidents in his nightmare and failing to kill himself even once, Dazai is like a listless fish who has lost all hope. "A life like that is just too terrifying."
Reading Guide:
1. The heroine appears at age fifteen, one year older than Dazai and Chuuya.
2. This is a story about a particular kind of torment. The heroine will be adopted by Mr. Mori and later become the mafia's big sister.
3. The heroine isn't a mastermind. She's a little single-minded, believes overwhelming strength can defeat any skill, and has huge fists that really hurt when she hits people.
4. This isn't a romance-focused story. The balance between plot and romance is sixty-forty (?).
Theme: A small body, tremendous strength.
