[Please add my next Infinite Flow story, "A Little Scary, But It’s Fine [Infinite]", to your collection, everyone~]
Story blurb
This is a world called the Wasteland.
This is a world that devours people.
Have you ever seen a sheep that looks gentle and peaceful, but in the dead of night can bite a person’s head off with its sharp teeth?
Have you ever considered that the safest room might hide a pair of blood-red eyes, watching your every move at all times?
In 3099, the “World Bug Theory” is all the rage.
News reports are full of strange cases of people going missing and then dying under mysterious circumstances.
Yu Leng doesn’t believe all this nonsense. She just wants to live a quiet life.
But before long, a female classmate who fell to her death suddenly comes knocking at her door.
She jolts awake from the nightmare.
Yu Leng gasps for breath.
The face looming in front of her belongs to a red-fleeced sheep.
The sheep doesn’t move. Its narrow, vertical pupils are fixed intently on her.
“Congratulations. You’re now one of the people who have gone missing from the real world.”
Yu Leng: “...I must still be dreaming.”
*
When Yu Leng first arrived here: hiding everywhere, timid and submissive.
She made “don’t cause trouble” her rule for survival, terrified that ghosts, monsters, or old grudges would find her and take her life in an instant.
Seeing this, others looked down on her and said she had no real ability. She’d survived multiple scenarios only because she was lucky and someone else carried her.
Later, someone saw with their own eyes as this “cowardly, timid” girl, her face expressionless, drove a metal ruler into a burly man’s head.
Her fingers moved, and blood sprayed out in an instant, red and white brain matter spilling across the floor.
“Tsk.” The girl gazed coolly at the corpse before her, frowning with irritation. “Now I have to clean this up. What a pain.”
The people who’d meant Yu Leng harm: ...I’ll clean it up for you. Can you please not kill me?

[Important: I’m terrible at writing blurbs. This isn’t a mindless power fantasy, and the heroine grows gradually.]
Reader’s guide:
1. The setting is entirely fictional. This is a plot-focused horror Infinite Flow story, with lots of original details in its Wasteland setting that differ somewhat from the traditional idea of a wasteland. The completed labels on the cover refer to major scenarios, with various smaller scenarios in between. Readers who enjoy the scenarios can check the chapter titles when skimming. Infinite Flow is combined with wasteland survival. Some descriptions may be disturbing, so readers with vivid imaginations should proceed with caution.
2. The heroine grows over time. She’s a self-interested person, not a self-sacrificing saint, and not a traditionally good-hearted person. She’s calm, rational, ruthless, and merciless. At the beginning, she doesn’t understand what’s going on and is cautious. She’ll feel fear, make mistakes, and get hurt, but she’ll grow stronger later.
3. Romance plays a minor role. The heroine focuses on her career and is stronger than all the men. Readers who want romance can leave now.
4. Some supporting characters will make you furious. They’re needed for the plot. A character’s values don’t represent the author’s, and all villains will ultimately be punished.
5. Most of the inspiration comes from my own nightmares and strange ideas. There will be familiar tropes. I respect original works, so please don’t accuse me of plagiarism without evidence.
6. I’m new to Infinite Flow and am simply writing what I like to read. My writing skills are limited, so there may be logical inconsistencies. Readers with high standards for logic and prose should proceed with caution.
7. This is an online novel for entertainment. Please don’t read more into it than that.
I’ll take reasonable suggestions into account, so please be kind. I hope writing it is fun for me and reading it is fun for you. If it’s not your thing, just leave via the top-left corner.
Happy reading! -v-
Blurb for "A Little Scary, But It’s Fine [Infinite]"
[Infinite Flow ‖ Outwitting villains + evil spirits ‖ Horror-focused plot]
Jiang Qiang has had a strange constitution since birth.
She attracts bad people.
Countless bizarre incidents have happened to her over the years.
For example, her childhood friend seemed sweet and kind, but deliberately started a fire, ended up in juvenile detention, and then vanished without a trace.
The landlord she thought was a decent person turned out to be a serial killer.
The gentle, considerate young man next door would smile and greet her during the day, but in the middle of the night he’d calmly dismember a body...
At first, they were all just ordinary people, so Jiang Qiang put up with it.
Until her friend suddenly went missing and Jiang Qiang saw a twisted ghost face in her friend’s mirror.
The three-eyed female ghost smiled coldly. Her deathly pale hand reached out of the mirror, trying to drag Jiang Qiang inside.
Jiang Qiang: “...”
Bad people are one thing, but where did this evil ghost come from?!
*
Jiang Qiang always thought she was pretty tough. Despite everything she’d been through, she’d never even considered killing herself.
She once had her fortune told.
The old man said she was a calamity star sent from the heavens, destined to be plagued by misfortune her whole life.
But just as Jiang Qiang finally got used to evil spirits haunting her, her soul started leaving her body from time to time. She’d mysteriously appear in some terrifying, random place, where monsters far beyond anything normal people could comprehend would hunt her down.
Jiang Qiang: Fine, I’ll put up with it. If I’m not afraid of ghosts, why should I be afraid of monsters?
Until the captain traveling with her plucked out his own eyes right in front of her, wiped them clean with his hands, and shoved them back in.
Looking at Jiang Qiang, who had fallen silent, the captain asked kindly, “What’s wrong, little buddy?”
Jiang Qiang answered calmly, “Nothing. I think I’d rather die.”
Later, after more than a decade of mental torment, Jiang Qiang finally snapped.
So what if she was born unlucky and attracted creepy things?
So what if she was constantly moving between the worlds of horror and reality?
She’d grown up safe and sound to the age of nineteen in such a hostile environment. Did that sound like a calamity star?
She was clearly a lucky star!
Since she couldn’t escape this torment of fate anyway...
She might as well declare war on fate itself and punch the heads off all those wicked people and evil spirits!
Theme: Strive forward with determination.
I feel like the pace of Seven Days of Ghost Crying is very fast, and many things ended hastily without being started. Even after reading it, I don't understand why I wrote it. For example, re-establishing a safe zone. Although I don't like to watch forming a team or creating a new map, this ending is like a specially described gun. You think that this gun must be effective, but the gun does not even fire at the end. This place also mentioned the Umbrella Girl. The old woman specifically mentioned the Umbrella Girl's life. I thought there must be some inside story or information about ghost murders, but it turned out that there was no such thing. It was just a mere mention. Zhou Chenqing's inexplicable scenes are like being brought into the group. I always feel that his scenes are also careless, which makes people confused. Is he simply describing a happy criminal he meets on the road? But he took in two younger brothers who looked noisy and not very smart. Why? It feels like it's gone without describing it. There are also veterans who have already reached their third dungeon, but they still go into great lengths about fearful or brainless behavior like newcomers. It is understandable that the deduction has been repeated for a long time, but readers have already seen the third dungeon. After all, there should be some outstanding characters who are calm or cooperative... I still push it back and forth. (This is just my personal opinion. I have no intention of guiding the author in writing. I can also understand that the author may be too busy in life to take care of it, but in short, books are brought together by fate. Thank you to the author for his efforts in coding. There is no card v and there is no time in my lifetime.)
This is too lame. If you don't want to write it, just don't write it. It collapsed like this. It's disgusting.
The copy of "Seven Days of Ghostly Crying" is really outstanding. It feels so disappointing to catch up to the end. .
It's really good to watch, and the author writes horror style very well! ! Very talented! I hope you won't stop writing. Not many can write horror novels with such an atmosphere [erotic-eared rabbit head] [erected-eared rabbit head] [erected-eared rabbit head]
"Shouldn't be too scary"
Ah ah ah help! The familiar horror is coming again.
I really enjoyed watching the previous series of deductions. . . I was scared and couldn't help but watch it, but after the Umbrella Girl, I felt a bit disconnected QAQ. I don't know if the author was in a hurry to finish it or something, but it was already great! Keep up the great work! [Pink heart]
Fortunately, I bought the ending directly and scrapped the unfinished story. .
I really like Xiao Yu's growth in this book. The descriptions of the supporting actresses are very vivid, as well as the friendship lines. I also like the copy, but the quantity is a bit insufficient. I look forward to the author's next book with unlimited streaming (??)
I can't believe how good this book is to get a few more copies and write a good ending. It starts with The Umbrella Girl and it feels like it's just for the sake of ending. Wow.
