After I Wrote a Love Letter to My Nemesis

Tang Qiao is the villain in a xianxia novel. She diligently followed the plot and finally made it to the night before her death. According to the System, all she had to do was wait for the male and female leads to storm the mountain and strike her with their Sword of Endless Passion. Then she could finish her job and return to her happy home. Her life had gone fairly smoothly. The only thing she couldn’t stand was her nemesis. Shen Qideng was an unparalleled genius who constantly clashed with her. He had an odd personality and was always teetering between sanity and madness. Tang Qiao decided to do something big before she died, something that would make her nemesis remember her forever. After much thought, she wrote him a love letter. It was heartfelt, every word a gem. Then she lay flat and waited peacefully for death. But the male and female leads never came. Instead, her bloodstained nemesis showed up. The young man stood in the moonlight holding two severed heads, a mocking smile on his face. “Did you write that letter?” Tang Qiao: … * The plot gradually became more and more absurd. Before her nemesis could get close, Tang Qiao stabbed herself without hesitation. When she opened her eyes again, she found she had been reborn to the year she first entered the immortal sect. Since she couldn’t return to her happy home, Tang Qiao decided to let loose. She’d kill the protagonists, beat the daylights out of her nemesis, and become the cultivation world’s number-one great demon! This new life went smoothly in every way. Except her nemesis was as difficult to deal with as ever, and as intent on targeting her as ever. Tang Qiao dreamed of defeating him, even while asleep. Then one day, in front of everyone, she finally knocked her nemesis down on the dueling platform. The young man was slightly out of breath. He smiled at her, his voice brimming with barely contained excitement. “Do you still remember that letter?” Tang Qiao: ??? [Reader’s Guide] 1. The writing is straightforward throughout. Don’t overanalyze the details. 2. This is not a romance-only story. There’s a plot. 3. The original heroine isn’t entirely a positive character. Her mindset changes at different stages, but she’s unlikely to become best friends with the heroine. Read with caution if that bothers you. 4. The targeting in the blurb is genuine targeting, and the fighting is genuine fighting. If that’s not your thing, please don’t force yourself to read it. 5. There are countless great stories out there. If this one isn’t for you, try another. Wishing everyone a happy day, every day.
