The Shining Ancestor

"The ancestor from the tomb next door has gone out to sunbathe again," said a bored zombie with mold growing in its fur.

A strange ghost passing by recently asked curiously, "Aren't zombies afraid of sunlight? How can it go out to sunbathe?"

The mold-furred zombie replied as though it were obvious, "That's why the ancestor holds up an umbrella while sunbathing."

The strange ghost asked, "Can't it just stop sunbathing?"

The mold-furred zombie said, "The ancestor says it wants to be a new-era ghost, living under the sun and growing in the spring breeze."

The strange ghost said, "I don't understand, but I respect it."

A strange voice suddenly said, "What new-era ghost? That's all a lie to fool gullible ghosts like you. The truth is, it's left the tomb to wait for someone."

"Wait for who?" The strange ghost turned around and saw a headless zombie.

The mold-furred zombie said, "It's waiting for a woman who has been the laughingstock of the ancestors for three thousand years."

The strange ghost said, "Oh. And what happens when it finds her?"

Before the mold-furred one could answer, the headless zombie said, "Obviously, face-slapping, putting trash in its place, and chasing its beloved straight to the crematorium."
