You Don't Have to Shine

Zhang Kexi was abandoned by her boyfriend and best friend in a wildlife park.

In the middle of nowhere at night, she clutched a sign that read, "Wild animals in the area. Do not leave your vehicle," trembling with fear.

*

She saw a sight she would never forget for the rest of her life.

Out in the wilderness, a handsome, aloof, dignified man slowly emerged from the pitch-black forest astride a 4.5-ton elephant. The man reached out to help her, and the elephant stretched out its trunk.

*

In a French restaurant, the stern, elegant man sat in the spotlight with his beautiful, haughty fiancée on his arm, while Zhang Kexi poured wine for them.

In a corner of the restroom, the man cornered Zhang Kexi and leaned close to whisper coldly in her ear, "Woman, don't tell anyone I rode an elephant."

*

At a class reunion, someone deliberately made things difficult for her by booking the gathering at the place where Zhang Kexi worked.

Someone else: "My husband owns eight apartments in the city."

Zhang Kexi: "My husband owns an elephant."

Someone else: "My husband loves playing golf."

Zhang Kexi: "My husband loves riding elephants."

Someone else: "My husband's yacht only cost three million."

Zhang Kexi: "My husband's elephant costs a million a year to maintain, and he's only had it for ten years."

Someone else: "Stop lying, Zhang Kexi. Private citizens aren't allowed to own elephants in this country, and where would you even keep one?"

Zhang Kexi: "That's why my husband opened the largest international wildlife park in Asia."

[Ji Beiyang doesn't understand what love is, but he'll always favor Zhang Kexi]

2. The three main characteristics of autism are social difficulties, restricted interests, and repetitive behaviors.

3. The female lead is the male lead's salvation.

4. The title refers to children with autism, who are called "children of the stars."

Both leads are virgins.
