After Sucking the Yang Energy from a Powerful Man, He Asked Me Out

Gu Yin cultivated for a thousand years before taking human form. His beauty could topple kingdoms, but because his true form was a poppy, he was born with a deadly curse. Anyone who saw him smile... without exception, would suffer a bloody calamity within three days.

Afraid of causing anyone's death, Gu Yin, who was like the Grim Reaper, spent three whole years in the entertainment industry without daring to smile once. His antis mocked him as a "wooden beauty," saying, "It's bad enough that he can't act. He can't even do a good job as a pretty face."

Gu Yin couldn't stand it anymore, so he set his sights on Xie Chen, the all-powerful head of the Xie family in Liangcheng.

Legend had it that Xie Chen had an auspicious, noble fate that could ward off every evil spirit.

So Gu Yin turned into a poppy every night and clung to the man, joining their souls together in his dreams and becoming one with him, to dispel his curse.

He thought no one would ever find out. Then one day, while Gu Yin was on set, a rising actress mocked him for having no acting skills and no connections. Just then, a handsome figure walked toward them.

Ignoring everyone's shocked stares, Xie Chen lowered his head and leaned close to Gu Yin's neck. Then he curled his lips into a smile and said:

"I dreamed about you again last night. Can we get back together?"
