The Emperor's Thighs Are So Pale

[Mind-Reading Story] Also known as The Emperor Has a Socially Mortifying Moment Every Day (Note left on May 8)

Xiao Shixu ascended the throne at thirteen. Every day, he diligently attended court and handled state affairs, never slacking off. He was so busy he barely had time to stop and catch his breath, let alone visit the concubines in his harem. He considered himself a wise and diligent ruler, beloved by both the court and the harem.

But during a grand banquet in the harem, as he listened to the concubines vie with one another and trade barbed remarks, Xiao Shixu heard a compliment out of nowhere: "The emperor is so handsome."

He was handsome, of course, but there was no need to praise him to his face and flatter him. He was just about to reply when he heard, "Lady Pan spent the night with the emperor yesterday. She said his thighs are long and fair."

Xiao Shixu blushed, flustered and furious. Which audacious concubine dared discuss his private affairs to his face? Did she have a death wish? As he searched for the culprit, he heard another voice: "The emperor is so good-looking, but he hardly ever visits the concubines. Is he all show and no go?"

Xiao Shixu's blushing face instantly darkened. He would find the woman who had been insulting him in her thoughts and punish her severely.

Later, he found her and drew her onto the imperial bed. Taking her hand, he guided it inside his robe. "Am I all show and no go? Find out for yourself."
