He looked around, then swallowed his pride and, under his colleagues' gossipy stares, went from holding his childhood friend's wrist to cuddling up with him. After Hagiwara died, a merit System came to him, claiming that if he did one good deed every day and brought Beika Town's terrifyingly high crime rate under control, he could change his friends' tragic futures. The System said he could claim the final reward in advance. So Hagiwara changed his friends' futures. Seeing Beika Town's bizarre crime rate, with someone dying every day and a whole group dead every few days, he put his hands together and resolved to become a benevolent man who spread the light of Buddha. After Date died, a matchmaker System came to him, claiming that if he brought together x couples, he could revive his girlfriend and family. The System said he could claim the final reward in advance. So Date brought his girlfriend and family back to life. He looked around and decided to turn his attention to his junior colleagues in First Investigation Division and his good friends from the same class. Thirty-year-old Furuya opened and closed his eyes, only to find everyone's memories had gone back a year. Kudo wasn't taking the antidote, Akai wasn't going back to America, and everyone was busy fighting the Black Organization. He thought in despair, The Black Organization has already been wiped out! Where am I supposed to find an international crime syndicate for you to fight?! Even worse, he saw his ridiculously strong, spiky-haired classmate sitting sideways on the lap of their long-haired classmate. The latter radiated a Buddha-like serenity as the two gazed into each other's eyes, full of affection. Furuya clutched his head in anguish. "Matsuda, Hagiwara! What's happened to you?! You're acting so out of character!" One day, he saw the familiar face of his childhood friend on a giant screen in the middle of Tokyo. The man held a microphone, his blue, catlike eyes tilting upward as he winked at the audience. Furuya: "!!! What's happened to this world? Hiro, what are you doing, Hiro?!" His dear class representative slapped a hand on his shoulder and said, "Furuya, Hiromitsu, you two should get together!" Furuya: "...I mean, I wouldn't be against it?" Couples: Rei/Hiromitsu, Gin/Akai/Gin Hagiwara/Matsuda are mentioned, along with other canon pairings such as Kogoro/Eri and Takagi/Sato. Note: The Gin/Akai pairing has a reason behind it. Warnings: Out of character, out of character, out of character! Extremely out of character!!! A zany comedy, short, with no main plot. Don't overanalyze it. The Black Organization is gone. Happy ending. The romantic plot is very light. Most of the story is silly platonic interactions, including lots of comedy routines with Akai, Kudo, and Furuya as a trio, and the Police Academy group messing with one another like lunatics. Aside from Furuya, the protagonist, Kudo and Akai feature heavily. There are lots of interactions between the three, so please don't read if that's not your thing. The author doesn't follow real-world celebrities. Hiromitsu's audition and the show are made up. Includes an unconventional System, livestream comments, and forum posts. There are a few crossovers with other works, such as Ensemble Stars and Bungo Stray Dogs. They have little presence, and their appearances are explained through the characters, so they won't affect your reading. Think of them as cameos and easter eggs. The story has a meaningful message: from another perspective, it can also be a story about the main cast working to prevent crime. ★ Please do not disparage or insult any canon character on the good side, and do not spread fanon brainwashing tropes. ★ Please don't derail the discussion or bring up unrelated works and pairings. On the eighth day, Chuuya found a passage on the back of the marriage certificate: "Yokohama's Model Family Rules" Congratulations, Executive Chuuya, on being named Yokohama's Model Family of the Year. You and your family have not hired a cleaner. If you see someone dressed as a cleaner, knock them unconscious immediately and throw them into the basement. Make sure nobody sees you do this. 12.
