Magical Girl, Back on the Job

What does it feel like to turn back into a human after being a witch?

What Kanazaki Ayi remembers is what the Law of Cycles said to her at the very end.

"Beyond countless worlds lie countless universes."

"Ayi, your Soul Gem could be completely corrupted at any moment. Even so, do you still want to go to that world?"

She nodded firmly. If she could use the power of the instant of transformation to travel between worlds, she would see her long-lost friend again.

Now Kanazaki Ayi opens her eyes once more. The first thing she sees is a strange yellow plush toy saying to her innocent friend:

"All right, then sign a contract with me and become a magical girl!"

Kanazaki Ayi: Drop dead!

Then she discovers that this world doesn't seem to have a QB. The magical being representing the light beyond darkness is a silver-haired angel, a ray of light in her shattered destiny.

A few notes for readers

1. The story is mainly Cardcaptor Sakura, with some Puella Magi Madoka Magica plotlines woven in.

2. Cardcaptor Sakura takes place far in the future, after Sakura became a magician and passed away. The Clear Card arc is not involved. Madoka Magica takes place after Madoka became a god but before Homura became a witch. The two worlds are parallel universes and do not affect each other.

3. Original female lead, paired with Yue. In this version, Yukito and Yue are separate individuals, and Yukito passed away like an ordinary person many years ago. The main focus is the plot, with romance as a secondary element.

4. Contains many author-created interpretations and details that differ from the original works.

5. Warning: early on, the female lead has extreme thoughts and behavior regarding magic. She's got Magical Girl PTSD.

6. In short, this is a very strange idea that I really wanted to write.

7. If you see an unexpected update, I may be correcting typos and awkward sentences. Painful expression.

Theme: We always believe in love, hope, and miracles.
