Synopsis

Taiyi rarely told anyone about a dream he had when he was in elementary school.

He and his friends had fallen into a mysterious world during summer camp and experienced all sorts of incredible adventures.

Later, together with seven other children and their Digimon partners, he saved the world.

But apart from Taiyi, none of his companions from that dream, or anyone else, remembered any of it.

Now a high school student, he had gradually come to believe it was no more than a bizarre childhood dream. That was, until one day his ordinary life was disrupted when a familiar Digimon fell from the sky, bringing a Digivice and a Crest.

This is a new adventure for the Chosen Children as adults.

A few things to know before reading:

1. This is a Digimon (Season 1) fanfic. It does not currently involve 02 or any subsequent official movies. The character names use the versions the author is most familiar with.

2. The story is set in an original parallel world where the original team are in high school. At the beginning, only Taiyi remembers their childhood adventures. The others will gradually remember them later.

3. There is no prominent romance. The focus is on the original team's friendship.

4. The story includes many "new interpretations of terminology" and original characters who drive the plot. Many are based on the author's own headcanon, so please keep that in mind.

Theme: Never stop moving forward.

Features: You can tell the central trope from the title. The writing varies, but the standout settings are key. They have the feel of Japanese light novels, though the characters aren't necessarily Japanese.

My picks for good stories without couples. They all have fun, imaginative premises. Some are unfinished. There are more crossovers with the DC and Marvel universes, but plenty of other anime too

The Crossover Anime Stories I Read Over the Years [Complete] 1

Books I've read, recorded here so I can find them again later. I only read a little of many of them. Some aren't crossover stories, but I was too lazy to sort them, so I put them here too. Rated 9.0 or higher, with very few exceptions.
