Chi Nian transmigrates into a book as the villainess.
In the story, she is ugly and fat, and pathologically, pathetically in love with the male lead, Sun Xiao. For his sake, she does every wicked thing imaginable, including secretly framing the heroine, targeting every supporting girl who is interested in Sun Xiao, and bullying Sun Xiao's rival, the male supporting character Jiang Chu.
The original novel gives her the standard ending for a villainess: when Sun Xiao learns what she has done, he despises her and says to her face, "You're disgusting." After graduating, Jiang Chu becomes a business mogul and takes revenge on her, as well as on behalf of the heroine, by constantly suppressing and humiliating her. Crushed by setbacks in both her career and love life, she eventually has a breakdown and is sent to a psychiatric hospital.
Chi Nian: All of you, get lost. I just want to study.
After she transmigrates into the book, Chi Nian binds herself to a Wellness System. Completing System tasks earns her rewards that improve her physical condition.
First task: Put goji berries in a thermos and steep them. After completing it, Chi Nian chooses to improve her skin.
And so her acne disappears, and her skin becomes fair and luminous.
Second task: Do the Twenty-Four Forms of Tai Chi. After completing it, Chi Nian chooses to improve her obesity.
And so Chi Nian quickly reaches a healthy weight, losing five pounds a day.
As she progresses through the tasks, the System unlocks more rewards. It can not only improve her own body, but also identify other people's health problems and help treat them.
So Chi Nian, a medical student in her previous world, makes money treating people with the System while working hard at her studies. Her life is thriving.
But as time goes by, Chi Nian realizes that the male lead and the male supporting character are both looking at her strangely.

One day, Sun Xiao limps into Chi Nian's clinic. Sneaking glances at her, he says, "Nian, I twisted my leg. Come take a look."
Chi Nian activates her scanning function and discovers that Sun Xiao doesn't have a single thing wrong with him. "…Turn left as you leave, and don't keep me from treating my patients."
Before long, Jiang Chu, now a business mogul, walks into Chi Nian's clinic.
Chi Nian asks him in a professional manner, "What's wrong?"
After a long silence, Jiang Chu says, "Insomnia."
Chi Nian raises an eyebrow. "Why?"
"…Because I miss you."
Looking at the tips of Jiang Chu's ears, red enough to drip blood, Chi Nian thinks: Boss, you really aren't cut out for cheesy pickup lines.
A sunny girl with the soul of a grumpy old man * a gloomy mogul, one-on-one, happy ending
Theme: Take care of yourself and live well.
