Fujisato Kyoka is a devoted otome game fan who loves collecting every ending. Thanks to her impressive track record, Fujisato Kyoka is invited to the first closed beta of a game called Fall in Love, Tennis, Doki~.
The game uses a multi-route loop system. Each route has several romanceable characters, but the System randomly picks one of them as the male lead for the current playthrough without telling the player. The player has to figure it out for herself. Only by winning over the character chosen by the System does the player clear the game.
Fujisato Kyoka responds, "Ooh, this looks interesting."
In the first round, Fujisato Kyoka becomes a student at Seigaku. Looking at Echizen Ryoma, the Prince of Tennis with buffs stacked from head to toe, Yukimura Sae thinks, That's the one. After working hard, Yukimura Sae successfully wins over the tsundere, sharp-tongued little prince. But after she accepts his confession, she hears the System's failure chime.
System: Player failed to win over the target. The male lead for this round is Tezuka Kunimitsu. Keep trying!
In the second round, after restarting, Fujisato Kyoka looks at Yukimura Seiichi, who lives near her home, and the more she looks at him, the more she feels this route is a childhood-friends, mutual-pining scenario. So she takes decisive action. After accompanying Yukimura Seiichi from rock bottom back to the top, she successfully hears him confess his feelings.
At the same time, the familiar failure chime sounds: Player failed to win over the target. The male lead for this round is Tezuka Kunimitsu. Keep trying!
Fujisato Kyoka says, "Why is it still Tezuka Kunimitsu? I'll get him next round, no matter what!"
In the third round, Fujisato Kyoka wakes up and heads straight for Tezuka Kunimitsu, determined to melt the iceberg with her sunny personality. After trying everything she can think of, she finally gets the reserved young man to confess to her of his own accord.
However, the System's failure chime rings once more: Player failed to win over the target. The male lead for this round is Echizen Ryoma. Keep trying!
Fujisato Kyoka can't take it anymore. She has no choice but to accept the cruel truth that she's unbelievably unlucky, and uses the secret game-clearing weapon given to her by the System to learn that the male lead selected for the next round is Atobe Keigo.
Entering the fourth round, Fujisato Kyoka transfers to Hyotei right from the start, deciding to become Atobe Keigo's classmate first and let them fall in love over time.
Things go extremely smoothly. Fujisato Kyoka is just about to clear the game when she sees three boys who have appeared out of nowhere beside her and freezes. They all claim that Fujisato Kyoka is their girlfriend, and the atmosphere between them grows more and more bizarre.
Faced with the increasingly terrifying gaze of her current target, Fujisato Kyoka can only keep her head down and struggle to maintain her image as an innocent, kind-hearted girl.
But as everyone keeps drawing closer, Fujisato Kyoka just can't keep playing anymore.

System: Congratulations! You've been selected as the male lead for this playthrough. Please wait for the player to try to win you over.
Male lead: ? What System? What player? I don't need one.
Later, after repeated reminders, Fujisato Kyoka's identity as a player is discovered. At first, the male leads intend to mind their own business and stay out of it. But when they see Fujisato Kyoka straying farther and farther off course, a flock of crows flies over their heads.
Male leads: ? Why isn't she trying to win me over? Come on, try to win me over!
# It turns out that even a skilled player can only suffer a crushing defeat when paired with someone as unlucky as this.
# Damn it, where did all these ex-boyfriends come from? Stop getting in the way of me clearing the game!
