That's a Wrap [Mystery]

*Onstage and offstage / A staged death turns real / Isolated island setup / Classic whodunit

*A short, roughly 150,000-character murder-mystery-game-style story / Free, not VIP

*The second story in the Tianfang Ye Tan series. Ye Ai is the female lead in every story in the series.

The low-budget Republican-era suspense drama Strange Cases of the Republic is about to wrap filming. Only one final scene remains.

In this scene, the villainous boss takes poison and dies.

The so-called "poison" is actually a vitamin tablet prepared in advance by the props team.

It's harmless, and gives the actor a little vitamin boost too.

But no one expected that he'd swallow the fake poison and really die...

*

The crew is filming at a villa in the mountains outside the city.

On the day of the incident, a sudden rainstorm hits, and a landslide blocks the only road into the mountains.

The rain pours down, leaving the place like an isolated island.
