Synopsis

(Starting in ~ month)

When Shen Xia's useless little brother was cornered by a gang of punks, she casually made up a story about being the girlfriend of a big shot. It was enough to scare them off with ease.

After getting a taste for borrowing someone else's clout, she couldn't stop herself.

She never expected the identity she'd made up to spread further and further, until it reached the big shot himself.

Gu Queyang heard that his rumored girlfriend, whom he'd never even met, was about to get beaten up by a crowd, so he decided to go watch the show.

He didn't get to see much of a show, though. Instead, he ended up saddled with the reputation of being hopelessly in love.

Afterward, a buddy happened to come looking for him. "Brother Yang, is sister-in-law okay?"

"Gu Queyang?" The girl's beautiful eyes widened in surprise as she looked at him, as if she didn't know him.

Gu Queyang didn't answer. With a half-smile, he repeated what she'd just said to the others: "I heard I'm so hopelessly in love with you that I can't help myself? That I can't live without you?"

"..."

"Tsk, I didn't know I was so devoted."

A handsome older boy from the same school moved in next door to Shen Xia. He was also quite helpful.

When she found out that he was the boyfriend she'd been linked to in all those rumors, Shen Xia felt deeply guilty.

To clear his name, Shen Xia set out to explain away the rumors about them.

At last, during a school broadcast, Shen Xia clarified their relationship in front of the entire school.

Afterward, she hurried to find the older boy and take credit for it.

Shen Xia: "So? This time, surely no one will misunderstand us anymore."

Gu Queyang: "Do you really not want anything to do with me?"

Seeing the older boy's face grow darker and darker, Shen Xia couldn't understand. She'd cleared his name, so why was he still unhappy?
