The Villainous Tyrant Is Unapproachable

● A somewhat crazy, adventure-loving bottom VS a secretly yandere, dark-hearted merfolk top

Synopsis:

Mizexi transmigrates into a Western fantasy romance game he once played, but there's one very big problem.

He is the youngest and most promising king on the continent of Hazel, with an unparalleled gift for magic. Because of his mercurial temperament, players have dubbed him the "Villainous Tyrant." In this role, he is a villain who is ultimately overthrown, yet System 0A5 tells him that he must collect all five magic stones to get home.

If he hadn't played this game before, Mizexi might have foolishly gone along with it.

According to the game's lore, the magic stones are gifts from the romanceable characters to the player. That means he has to win over all five male leads to get them.

But the game and reality aren't the same. Rather than pursue them in a terrifying gay dating sim, Mizexi decides to use his identity as a tyrant to steal or seize the stones outright.

To that end, he puts on the mask of a tyrant. Everyone fears him, so a tyrant he shall be.

Following the plot, Mizexi sails to various kingdoms. He wins the crystal from the sword of an enemy prince through a wager, obtains a pearl formed from a mermaid's tear by playing out a tragic romance, and loots an ancient deity's grave for its burial treasures...

After doing a whole string of despicable things worthy of a villain, Mizexi gradually realizes something is off. Why do people who act a lot like transmigrators keep popping up around him, using every possible method to stage chance encounters?

Could they be fellow countrymen meeting abroad?

Mizexi soon finds out what's going on when he overhears their conversation.

[It's been half a month. Why is this tyrant's affection still at zero? No wonder he's an S-rank romance target.]

[Maybe there's a bug in the new game update. Let's wait and see.]

Mizexi: ???

Wait a minute. Why didn't anyone tell him the game had been updated with a new version? And why has he become a romanceable character too?

Before Mizexi can flee back to his kingdom and come up with a plan, a guard announces from the doorway, "Your Majesty, this is terrible! Several of your fiances are fighting outside."

Mizexi: "...When did I get fiances?"

The guard looks at him with admiration. "They say you took their tokens of love, the magic stones. As expected of Your Majesty! How should we assign these people their ranks in the harem?"

Mizexi: ...
