The Last Savior

For ten years, 120 months, and 3,652 days, Bai Wu played only one game: Watch Over the End.

When all the players left, the game shut down.

He bought the game and kept running his little city day after day, becoming its only player.

A dark, hopeless wasteland spreads across the land.

The gods have abandoned humanity, and clouds hang over the world. Only one city remains, its light never going out, illuminating the last refuge and standing like an undying sun.

The boundary between reality and the virtual world breaks, and humanity panics at the power of the mastermind behind it all.

Bai Wu diligently does his daily grind, never missing a single sign-in.

Then one day, he falls into that world himself.

Bai Wu: Huh, my paper-doll character is alive!

Gu Shi kneels on the ground, his vivid red ceremonial robe like the most intense mandrake flower. "Your arrival is the greatest reward you could give your faithful follower."
