The Insectoid Gourmet and His Beautiful, Strong, Tragic Male Consort

The ferocious beast Taotie Yu Xie transmigrated into a book, becoming the villainous male lord of Fu Qing, the novel's protagonist. It was their wedding night from the start.

Yu Xie, a skilled cook, revealed his secret identity in no time and began a life of passionate devotion with Major General Fu.

He thought that if he teased his husband and cooked for him, he'd soon be able to return to the Ninth Heaven. He never expected the plot to veer further and further off course, with everything spiraling beyond his control.

Where did the endless waves of insectoid monsters come from?

Who were the hidden agents in the Five Empires?

What was behind the forced mutations afflicting the insect people of all five nations?

Was the mysterious child of evil really the mastermind?

Just as the truth was becoming clearer, Fu Qing lost his memory...

More precisely, his memories of the complete plot from the original novel resurfaced.

In the original story, Fu Qing had died twice because of "the original Yu Xie." But in this life, he and Yu Xie were passionately in love. The two sets of memories fought for control in the insectoid's mind every day.

When his memories of the original novel resurfaced, his husband treated him like an enemy and tried to kill him on the spot. When his memories of this life resurfaced, his husband missed him so desperately he went mad and wrapped his arms around his neck to kiss him...

On one side was Fu Qing, confused by his conflicting memories. On the other was a mastermind bent on wiping out the entire insect race.

Yu Xie had no choice. It looked like he was destined to be the one to save the world.

This is a fictional setting unrelated to reality. Please don't draw parallels to real life.

1. One-on-one, happy ending, both are virgins, no children in the main story (pregnancy in the extras is marked), no gender equality. One-sided salvation and mutual devotion, with both partners doting on each other. This couple is extremely lovey-dovey and can't get enough of cuddling.

2. There are some food-related scenes, but not many. The story may include original worldbuilding for the sake of the plot.

3. Extremely top-focused. If you don't like a top who dotes on his partner, this isn't for you.
