[Greek Mythology] The Aloof Sword Cultivator Is Bound to a Conquest System

Wen Lanshu is the aloof shizun gong's counterpart in a melodramatic rebirth novel: famous from a young age, astonishingly gifted, and elegant in bearing.

The protagonist gong treats him as a stand-in for his moonlight, putting him through a torturous romance of breakups, running away, and relentless pursuit, until Wen Lanshu is left heartbroken. The protagonist gong comes to his senses and is reborn a hundred years earlier, vowing this time to cherish the person before him.

But before the protagonist gong can act, Wen Lanshu suddenly transmigrates into the world of Greek mythology. He is also bound to a System called "Romance Conquest," which is actually an unserious System that's more like a playbook for womanizers.

The System issues the main quest: the Host must win the "love" of the twelve Olympians to gather enough energy to return to his original world.

Faced with the deities of Greek mythology, who can reproduce without sex, and their incredibly tangled family relations,

Wen Lanshu, a cold, unfeeling sword cultivator from the feudal era and an aloof shizun, is deeply shocked and finds it utterly incomprehensible and outrageous.

Wen Lanshu: "Conquest is out of the question. A sword cultivator can't do that sort of thing. I think this 'love' could mean love between friends, love between family, gratitude toward a benefactor..."

System: "But..."

Wen Lanshu: "A System should be devoted to one thing. Where I'm from, people would hunt you down for life as a heretical demon who uses cultivators as cauldrons."

The System falls silent.

Hades says nothing.

The lord of the underworld gazes toward the visitor from another world, whose wide sleeves flutter in the breeze, like a mountain looking at a crane.

As it happens, "love" can also mean romantic love.
