After I Turned Down My Childhood Friend

A short, sweet story.

At sixteen, Gao Xiangdong saw off the old carpenter who had raised him, becoming a complete orphan.

Living alone wasn't all that hard. The hard part was figuring out how to shake off the little brat who shamelessly followed him everywhere.

That kid had no idea of his place. He barely came up to Gao Xiangdong's waist and was more than ten years younger, yet he refused to call him Uncle, sweetly calling him Big Brother instead.

Later, the little brat grew taller and became even less respectful. He didn't even want to call him Big Brother anymore.

Gao Xiangdong felt his authority being challenged, but he never expected an even bigger challenge to come: the little brat wasn't just unruly, he also had big ambitions.
