The Little Dragon I Raised Grew Up to Be the Top

He was caught in an explosion during a mission and discovered he'd become a giant black dragon, with a little dragon hatchling clinging to him.

He stumbled over a cliff in a daze. He didn't die, but when he came to, he was back in his hospital bed.

Gao Leyang thought it had all been a dream, until he found the poor little dragon hatchling on his balcony at home.

Everyone noticed that Gao Leyang seemed like a different person after he came back.

"Captain Gao can smile now!"

"Captain Gao has a new pet!"

Even more baffling, before long Captain Gao was bragging to everyone

"I've got a wife!"

Yeah, right~

Everyone waited to see the show.

Everyone knew Gao Leyang was hopeless at finding love. He'd failed at countless blind dates, and the person he'd had his eye on had even beaten him up not long ago. Then came that whole explosion incident. Nobody took him seriously.

Until a white-haired, breathtakingly beautiful young man walked into the police station and followed Gao Leyang around like a glowing little accessory. Everyone finally came to their senses: this fool Gao Leyang was ridiculously lucky in love!

.

The little dragon hatchling had transformed into a white-haired youth of peerless beauty. A pair of V-shaped dimples beneath his eyes instantly stole Gao Leyang's heart.

At first, Gao Leyang thought their meeting was just a coincidence. But the encounter stirred up hidden currents, and the truth from twenty years ago gradually came to light... The breathtaking young man was the person from his dreams.

Gao Leyang was ecstatic. "Wifey, I've finally found you!"

But

His wife pinned him down!

.

[Little Scene One]

The wedding night he'd planned for so long turned out nothing like Gao Leyang had imagined. He gritted his teeth. "Y-You jerk!"

Xiu Yu looked aggrieved. "...But you told me to hurry up."

Gao Leyang: "...And did you listen when I told you to slow down?"

Later, Gao Leyang went to work in a long-sleeved shirt with a high collar and a huge mask covering his face. Everyone was confused, so Captain Gao explained with a dark expression: "My wife has a temper!"

Xiu Yu: "That's true. My wife has a temper, but I like it!"

Reading notes:

1. The little dragon hatchling is the seme. Don't get the pairing wrong.

2. The little dragon hatchling turns human around Chapter 30. He's sweet but fierce, an innocent-looking little trickster with a dark side.

3. About the age gap: It's not an age gap in the usual sense. It's a pseudo-younger-seme pairing. The dragon is only a hatchling for a short time and grows up quickly after turning human.

4. There are lots of original settings, and neither character is ordinary. It takes time for the truth to come out, so the story won't move too fast. Don't rush!

5. I'm a novice, so I welcome your feedback on anything that could be improved. I'll work hard to get better. Thank you!

Theme: The road to the truth is fraught with hardship, but true love that never gives up conquers all.
