Hong Yu was born on Green Garden Star in the eastern part of the core region of the Beikui Star Sector.
By then, it had been three hundred years since the Star Gates collapsed. The Golden Empire, with its advanced technology, entertainment, culture, and economy, and the golden old days that seemed to flow with milk and honey had long since become a dream no one could tell was true or false.
The Beikui Star Sector, once a fringe region even in the days of the Empire, had been carved up by several corporate giants. All sorts of monsters ruled different star systems in ways that made them seem less than human.
Apart from the debt passed down through her family, all she had was an alcoholic father, a cowardly mother, and two younger sisters left behind.
And a soul from the 3K era.
Her days of grinding through hard work the moment she opened her eyes finally took a turn when she salvaged an artifact and built something from it.
She would pilot the little cargo ship she'd spent ten years cobbling together and make her way, step by step, to the very top!
