An Average of 1.0 Goals Conceded [Football]

A sincere question: What happens if a goalkeeper lets in an average of one goal per match? Is that considered really bad?

Tu Zhifei: Thanks for the invite. It just means winning the Champions League without breaking a sweat.

A friendly reminder:

1. I can't write about the Chinese national team. I played through a long career mode, and with only the protagonist added, the best-case scenario was getting the team through the World Cup qualifiers, only to go home after the group stage. I'm too bad at this to know how to write it.

2. The protagonist has every face-slapping plot buff imaginable! It's especially over-the-top, so please don't force yourself to read if you're not into that.

The extras are in my profile. They're simply called “Extras,” and I'll be writing some really fun stuff!

Preparing for the provincial civil service exam and revising the novel. Updates resume after March 16.

Here's a friend's upcoming novel, set in Serie A~

[Football] Well Done, Balo!

[“What about you, Amos? What do you want to be when you grow up?”

“Like Mom,” Amos muttered. “A gardener.”]

Amos Merlo, one of the Golden Generation of 1976, a playmaking maestro and the beating heart of the team. He can always find a gap amid a sea of defenders and deliver that deadly pass.

One line from La Gazzetta dello Sport may be the most precise summary of Amos's career:

Amos, the good-natured man his teammates affectionately call Baloo, showed the world what the greatest modern attacking midfielder looks like. The true heart of the team: irreplaceable for Italy.

Theme: Building dreams on the green pitch, with a goalkeeper taking the team to new heights.
