In 383 AD, Former Qin was defeated at the Battle of Fei River.
Two years later, Fu Jian died, and Former Qin fell.
Sixteen years after that, northern China was engulfed in conflict among rival regimes, while the Eastern Jin in the south was in turmoil. Rumors spread of strange omens in the sky and monsters appearing in the land. Evil spirits took the form of natural disasters and roamed the earth.
An old man's head painted in red and white, a strange vermilion and golden-yellow archway, an undead figure claiming the Heavenly King had returned to life, a madman bold enough to loudly urge the emperor to abdicate and save himself...
This was a chaotic age. Fortunately, Li Ze knew those things weren't evil spirits, even if they could certainly be called natural disasters.
They were only the Fourth Calamity, after all.
#With the whole world full of Fourth Calamity pranksters, I decide to embark on a proper farming, infrastructure-building, upgrading, and conquest story#
"The male lead was born into this era, not a Fourth Calamity player, and does not have a System."
"The players really are Fourth Calamity pranksters (warning). Some controversial scenes may appear."
*It may be a slow-paced, plot-driven story. I personally think it's a satisfying power fantasy (what's not satisfying about unifying China during the Northern and Southern Dynasties?)*
Theme: National unity
