The Tragic Male Supporting Character's Five-and-a-Half-Year-Old Daughter [Entertainment Industry]

Cen Le, a renowned top talent manager, had a secret: she had been a fan of one idol for years.

Her idol wasn't a real person, but a fictional supporting male character in an entertainment-industry comic.

He was the classic handsome, strong, yet tragic character.

In his youth, his extraordinary talent made others jealous. He was framed and embroiled in scandal, and even the only three family members he had left, his elder brother, sister-in-law, and five-and-a-half-year-old niece, were dragged into it and killed. After that, he disappeared from the limelight for eight whole years.

In the comic, after finally getting his revenge, the supporting male character collaborated with the heroine on a film hailed as "the greatest movie of the century." Then he died suddenly of lung cancer, caused by years of smoking during his career slump.

For the countless time, Cen Le sobbed over the scene of her idol, gaunt but still handsome, grinning roguishly at the camera just before his death. Then she fell into a deep sleep.

When she opened her eyes again, Cen Le was astonished to find that she had become her idol's niece, the five-and-a-half-year-old girl who was supposed to have died long ago.

And the slovenly man fast asleep on the bed beside her, surrounded by empty instant-noodle cups and beer cans, was none other than her idol himself!

The System told Cen Le that she was supposed to be dead. To stay alive, she either had to become a highly successful person blessed with great fortune herself, or latch onto the fortune of someone who already had it.

Cen Le looked down at her short arms and legs, then expressionlessly pointed at her idol, sprawled across the bed.

Cen Le, top talent manager, whoever she promotes becomes a star: "What if I turn him into someone blessed with great fortune?"

Years later, Cen Xinghe, a global superstar and the youngest actor to win every major award, could still vividly recall that moment.

At twenty-two, he was going through the hardest time of his life:

His company had betrayed him, leaving him buried in debt. He was mired in scandal, with everyone out for his blood. His brother and sister-in-law had died because of him, leaving behind a young niece he had taken in.

He was depressed and disheveled. Apart from cooking for his niece, he spent all his time in a daze, like a walking corpse.

Until that day...

Five-and-a-half-year-old Cen Le rushed into the room, yanked open the curtains, leaped onto him, and tore off his blanket. Then she threw a pile of acting offers at him, ones nobody wanted at the time but that would become huge hits in the future, and said in her childish voice, "Cen Xinghe, get up."
