The Taotie Conquers the World of Metaphysics by Eating [Book Transmigration]

After the glutton Taotie Tao Zhi dies from a lack of spiritual energy, she transmigrates into a beloved-by-all occult novel as a cannon-fodder supporting heroine.

Although she comes from an occult family, the original owner has no talent for the occult arts and is far less valued by her family than the talented illegitimate daughter, the heroine.

The illegitimate daughter enjoys the love of the whole family and has the best of everything. The original owner has had to earn her tuition by doing odd jobs for the clan since childhood. After coming of age, she is sent straight to the countryside, where she is eventually killed by a vengeful ghost sent by the illegitimate daughter to silence her.

Faced with a terrifying ghost with blue-white skin and fangs,

Tao Zhi, who lived in the spiritually depleted, science-minded final age and hasn't seen one of these delicious things in nearly a century, starts drooling.jpg

After accidentally stumbling into an internal occult-world forum dedicated to posting bounties for exorcising vengeful ghosts, Tao Zhi looks at the list, which says "bounties" but reads "menu," and her eyes light up:

I get to eat ghosts and make money? There's actually a deal like this in the world!

A huge story breaks in the occult world.

The most dangerous bounties, which have been posted on the occult forum for years and have terrified everyone, have all been taken by a low-ranking celestial master who just joined the forum. They include the Human-Skin Umbrella, the Ghost in the Mirror, the century-old Rakshasa Woman, and the thousand-year-old Flying Corpse...

Everyone is horrified. They investigate whether the forum has a bug while waiting for news that the low-ranking celestial master has met a gruesome end.

Instead, the low-ranking celestial master not only survives, but resolves one by one the ghostly monsters that have plagued the occult world for years!

The entire occult world is shaken. The great families make inquiries, wondering which hidden master this could be.

The answer is shocking: the master is Tao Zhi, the abandoned daughter of the Tao family, cast out for being too useless!

Tao Wei has a secret: she has been reborn.

In her past life, her older sister was clearly missing part of her soul and was always a beat slow to react. Yet because she had a special constitution ideal for the occult arts, the entire family doted on her.

After being reborn, Tao Wei uses her System's golden finger to steal Tao Zhi's special constitution and take her place in the family.

She also schemes to drive Tao Zhi to the countryside and sends a vengeful ghost to finish her off for good.

Tao Zhi vanishes without a trace. Tao Wei thinks her life will be smooth sailing from then on, until news arrives about the identity of the mysterious master...
