Harry Potter: A Few Things About the Wizarding World

The main story is complete, so feel free to dive in! The heroine is in Ravenclaw. She’s an ordinary bystander type, and the story follows her growth. She accidentally transmigrates to the magical world. The good news is, she isn’t a Muggle this time around (la la la~). The bad news is, she’s landed in a prequel to Harry Potter, about fifty years before the main story begins (facepalm!) There’s no helping it. She’s unlucky enough to live through some of the most lawless decades in the magical world: Grindelwald is already around, and Voldemort is yet to come. Her difficult goal in this wizarding life is simply to lie low and make it safely to the end! P.S. A gloomy, narcissistic, fiercely controlling Dark Lord × a sunny, affectionate, clingy little angel (who’s a bit two-faced at first). The Dark Lord in this story is the same Dark Lord as in the original. His nature hasn’t changed, and I’ll try to keep him in character. Before the body’s original owner died, she was tricked into summoning a demon. Just as her soul was fading away and the demon was about to possess her, Luz accidentally got there first and took over the body. Unable to return to the Abyss, the demon has no choice but to share a body with Luz. Sharing a body with a demon means Luz has to endure its endless temptations every day, be frightened by terrifying visions from time to time, and listen to its constant whispers even while she sleeps, all in an attempt to drive her mad and make her leave of her own accord. But it isn’t long before Luz learns to erode the demon’s mind in turn. Its memories open up to her: obscure ancient magic, a vast variety of herbs, long-lost potion recipes… The memory bank of a demon that’s lived for ten thousand years is practically the most complete encyclopedia in the magical world. Meanwhile, the body, once merely average in ability, gradually learns Abyssal magic as it is transformed by the demon’s power. Luz can make lesser demons serve her, tame an evil dragon as a mount, and enter and leave the Forbidden Forest without a scratch. When the Abyss invades the surface world and the great wizards and holy swordsmen suffer from its corruption, only Luz continues to thrive. How is this an evil invasion?
