I Just Like Getting a Good Deal

Gu An is an honest, silly guy who loves a bargain. Every day, he mooches food and drink off his roommates. Plenty of people say that without his roommate, Gu An would never have met rich second-generation heir Chen Chengxu, let alone become his friend.

But Chen Chengxu takes him everywhere. Watching Gu An's stinginess, the people around them treat him like a joke.

"Can I take this with me?"

"This is good too. Can I take it with me?"

"This... this too... Can I take it with me?"

Even after getting permission, he doesn't forget to butter people up with a beaming smile.

His life is like that line from a rap song: "If I can't finish it, I'll pack it up and take it home~~"

The first time Chen Lian met Gu An, his brows stayed furrowed the whole time. He privately told his younger brother, "Stay away from that roommate of yours from now on."

Chen Lian has been celibate for years. When his friends ask why he doesn't date, he always gives the same answer:

"No time."

"If you don't have time to date, just keep someone around."

For some reason, that night he remembered Gu An in the private room, saying, "If I can't finish it, I'll pack it up and take it home~~"

He started bringing things to his younger brother's school every now and then, always preparing an extra portion for Gu An. Gu An naturally called him "big bro" every other word. Thinking that Gu An loved money and taking advantage of people, Chen Lian proposed a sugar baby arrangement without the slightest respect.

That day, Gu An splashed a bottle of mineral water right in his face. His eyes were red with hurt as he returned all the food he'd been saving because he couldn't bear to eat it.

"Here. You can have all this back."

Then he held out his hand. "Give me one yuan."

For the mineral water.
