The Madman and the World-Weary

[I accidentally clicked the wrong thing, so I adjusted the chapters. I didn't post any new content (guilty.jpg)]

[Please ignore the professional details. They're all just there to set up the leads' relationship.]

Why do most of life's misfortunes seem to fall on one person?

Perhaps all those countless misfortunes are because the rest of his life is meant to be spent with one particular person.

When a madman meets someone weary of the world,

when someone weary of the world meets a madman,

will they save each other,

or fall into the abyss together?

The two leads have somewhat unusual personalities, though perhaps not as unusual as you might imagine. They're just two kids who haven't had enough love.

"I use my flamboyance to cover up how awful I am," says Wei Qianyin.

"I use my indifference to hide how tired I am of the world," says Qi Longlian.

"What a coincidence. We're the same kind," says Wei Qianyin.

"No coincidence. Get lost," says Qi Longlian.

"Ah! Not a chance," says Wei Qianyin.

"You're the one who started this. If I die, I'll take you with me," says Qi Longlian.

"What a coincidence. That's what I was thinking too," says Wei Qianyin.

"You two seem to be having a great time. Want to take a day trip to the psychiatric hospital?" asks the narrator, watching from the sidelines.

"Sure!" reply the two, eagerly.

2. Both leads are each other's first and only partner. Switch couple.

3. Alternate setting! Alternate setting! Alternate setting! Same-sex marriage is legal.

4. The romance develops quickly, a little like getting married before falling in love.
