After Winning Over the Snow Mountain Dog

The first time Lin Jiyuan saw Mu Hanshan, he thought he was like a wolf from the snowy mountains.

He had a chilling air about him, aloof and hard to approach.

But later, by the cozy warmth of the hearth, Mu Hanshan peeled a roasted potato and handed it to him. Lin Jiyuan then thought he was more like a snow mountain dog.

Beneath his seemingly cold exterior was a very tender heart.

Snow mountain dogs are hard to woo, but somehow Lin Jiyuan still managed to get one to come home with him.

Lin Jiyuan went traveling in Tibet. Along the way, he met a tall, handsome mountaineer. His attempt to hit on the man failed, and somehow he ended up heading into the mountains.

The mountaineer was called Mu Hanshan. His name and his personality were as cold as the snow mountains, but Lin Jiyuan couldn't help teasing him. To his surprise, after being teased, the man really did go with him.

They were together for four years. After those four years, Lin Jiyuan felt he had come to his senses and went alone into the snowy mountains to find his lover.

His lover smiled at him in the golden sunlight, so he walked into the endless white snow.

-

The snow buried him. The last ray of sunlight in my eyes was blocked by my delusion.

From then on, the snowy mountain became my grave.
