Chasing His Wife to the Crematorium, Title TBD
Blurb:
Lu Ji Fang forgot the seventh anniversary of his marriage to Yu Pan Qiu.
Because of work, Lu Ji Fang had spent very little time at home over the years, leaving Yu Pan Qiu to run back and forth on her own.
He didn't understand how much she missed him, hidden beneath her stubborn denials. When she finally admitted how much she depended on him, he said, "Can you be more understanding? I'm busy."
Watching her older brother and sister-in-law, still sweetly in love after seven years of marriage, and then looking at her own life, Yu Pan Qiu felt that her marriage had become a pool of stagnant water.
That night, she mailed him divorce papers, but a sliver of hope remained in her heart. She hoped Lu Ji Fang would come and try to win her back.
But two hours after the papers were delivered, Yu Pan Qiu received a text from his secretary, telling her that the papers had been signed and sent back.
Secretary Tan: [Ms. Yu, President Lu asked me to pass on one thing: He'll only get married once in his life.]
In other words, he wouldn't remarry her.
Yu Pan Qiu's heart turned to ash.
After the divorce, she moved out. While looking for a new place, she met Sheng Yue, the landlord's son.
Sheng Yue was handsome and gentle, and made her feel cherished and loved again.
One day, as they walked home together, Sheng Yue confessed his feelings to her downstairs. She blushed and said nothing. When he leaned down to kiss her, she rose on tiptoe and boldly kissed him back.
When the kiss ended, Yu Pan Qiu's legs were weak, and she leaned into his arms.
Just then, a familiar figure appeared by the flowerbed. She froze and turned her head, meeting Lu Ji Fang's eyes, cold as frost.
