Mute Lover

Shi Wan is a newly risen ingénue in the entertainment industry. Her acting is average, but her looks have carried her a long way.

In her third year after debuting, she was forced to take a temporary break because of a "scandal" and returned to the home of a distant relative to take some time to reflect.

Years ago, her relative had adopted an orphan.

He was eighteen this year, two years younger than Shi Wan.

At first sight of Zou Yi, Shi Wan was struck by his extraordinary beauty, and suddenly found herself wanting to fall in love.

It was just a pity that Zou Yi was mute.

But apart from being unable to speak, he was perfect in every way.

He would do her laundry, cook, clean, and take care of her needs...

Later, Shi Wan had to return to her career, and she left him behind without hesitation.

They met again in Beijing. When Zou Yi saw her with her arm linked through another man's, he walked straight up to her and signed, "Shi Wan, you can't leave me."
