Yu Shu is a cat by nature, but after coming of age, he was able to maintain a human form. This cat hero, who had roamed far and wide since childhood, thrived in the complicated human world.

In recent years, he had been trying to make big money as an idol in the entertainment industry. Dedicated, hardworking, honest, and friendly, he was known both inside and outside the industry as a model worker.

But life is full of unexpected turns...

He woke up one day to discover that his soul had swapped places with Xu Cheng, a famous actor in the industry, and they had no idea when they would be able to swap back.

Yu Shu: ...Hello? Heaven, what is your problem? Is this really okay, doing this to a hardworking, ambitious little cat like me??? :D

Unfortunately, life is full of drama. Two people who had nothing to do with each other in the vast entertainment industry ended up living together in style as they searched for a way and an opportunity to switch back.

They worried themselves sick over each other's work and took on plenty of jobs they had never done before. Their own shortcomings left them both completely exhausted.

But the most exhausted of all was probably Actor Xu...

Compared to the idol's relentless work schedule, waking up to find himself turned into a cat seemed even more unreal. And the owner of this body was sleeping soundly right next door.

Xu Cheng: ...What the hell?

This workaholic, who loved every job he did... was clearly not one of my kind. Xu Cheng stared at his very real cat paws for a long time before finally understanding.

Yu Shu was rudely woken by a cat paw and was startled by his own cat face: ...Wait! I can explain!

Because of this sudden mishap, Actor Xu had to appear on a variety show he couldn't turn down. He and Yu, the cat who had started out as an idol, stared at each other for a long time, both lamenting their fates.

With Actor Xu's face, Yu Shu could only carry Xu Cheng, who couldn't return to his human form, and take his place on the show. The extraordinary human-and-cat duo won many fans, while Yu the Cat's freewheeling personality completely destroyed the aloof image a certain actor had maintained for years.

Then one day, Actor Xu, who still wasn't used to his cat form, woke from a nap and rolled over in bed. Right in front of Yu Shu, he suddenly made a little “poof” and turned back into a human. The two of them abruptly returned to their original bodies, ending the soul swap.

The two of them stared at each other in the room. Then an actor friend knocked at the door and called out to ask a question. Yu the Cat, ever committed to his work, immediately leaped onto the bed. Actor Xu caught on and quickly climbed onto the bed too, pressing down on the person under the covers. “Wait, wait, hold on!!!”

Let me think of a way to explain why there's suddenly a male celebrity who isn't a guest in the room.

When Liang Jue thinks back to his first impression of Xie Xun, he recalls hearing countless rumors in his second year of high school that Xie Xun, from Class Nine in the building across from his, had a crush on him.

But Xie Xun was a guy.

Liang Jue was a guy too, a handsome, cold straight guy. He didn't understand that particular preference, but he respected it.

But Xie Xun came up so often in his friends' teasing that Liang Jue started getting annoyed.

After school, Liang Jue stopped the infamous Xie Xun at the back gate. He was a little surprised to find that Xie Xun looked like an ordinary high school boy, and was very pretty.

But that was where Liang Jue's impression ended. With a cold expression, he shoved the gift he'd received into Xie Xun's arms and asked in an equally cool tone, “You like me?”

Xie Xun blushed, but Liang Jue didn't wait for him to answer. “Don't like me. I don't like guys.”

Liang Jue walked away. As he turned, he heard Xie Xun reply softly. It wasn't “Okay,” but “Oh.”

Liang Jue didn't care what “Oh” meant, but Xie Xun really did disappear from his high school life.

Liang Jue soon forgot about the little incident. Later, when he ran into Xie Xun again under the same dorm building while registering for college, he didn't recognize him.

When he heard his name, he finally connected him with the person in his memory. Liang Jue never imagined that someone was interested in him, so he just thought it was a funny coincidence.

His impression of Xie Xun was still that he was very pretty. As time went by, he added “You're everywhere” to that, and then “part of a special group with a cross-dressing fetish.”

As he got to know him better, the label gradually became just “Xie Xun,” with increasingly fantastical additions like “a little dumb,” “a stutterer,” and “cute.”

Finally, Xie Xun became his boyfriend.

Everyone who knew the story said Xie Xun was incredibly persistent. They couldn't believe he had actually managed to win Liang Jue over.

Only Liang Jue himself disagreed. Xie Xun's good qualities didn't need explaining to outsiders. It was enough that he knew them himself.

Xie Xun doesn't actually have a cross-dressing fetish. But the guy he likes is straight and clearly told him he doesn't like men, so he should give up.

Xie Xun remembers that the first time he interacted with Liang Jue, he was dressed as a girl in a skirt. Liang Jue apparently didn't realize he was a boy at all, and even lent his school uniform jacket to Xie Xun after he got drenched in the rain.

After Liang Jue rejected him to his face, Xie Xun took the lesson to heart. It didn't matter that Liang Jue didn't like men. He could learn to wear women's clothes and pretend to be a girl, and he could become the kind of person Liang Jue liked.

And so he never turned back from the path of becoming a cross-dressing master.

Even after they went to college, Xie Xun's slender but nearly six-foot-four frame looked a little ridiculous in women's clothes. Still, Liang Jue didn't seem to notice anything strange, and tacitly allowed him to get closer little by little.

Of course, as it turned out, Liang Jue, who remained straight even after becoming his boyfriend, wasn't actually blind. He had simply remained the same softhearted gentleman he'd been at their first meeting.
