Su Xinghui follows her missing meteor-hunter father's journal to the edge of the Sahara, where she meets a cold beauty with long hair.

The beauty seems to know a lot about meteorites, so she decides to latch onto his team and dig for clues.

Playing along, she tries every trick in the book.

Then the Milky Way spreads across the sky above the uninhabited wilderness. With nothing else around them, two lonely people sit atop a dune and gaze at the stars. Su Xinghui hears him ask in a slow, gentle voice:

"Do you know the most romantic thing a rogue asteroid could do for Earth?"

Her reflection fills his beautiful eyes, blotting out the dazzling night sky.

There was no wind in the desert that night.

She almost runs away.

Later, she learns it wasn't the first time she'd deceived him.

Later, they have endless things to talk about. The resonance between their souls, impossible to share with anyone else, is like a meteor streaking through the atmosphere, passionate and impatient.

One night, in a moment of weakness, he impulsively writes:

"Please forgive me for overstepping."

"But I think I've fallen in love with you."

The message goes unread, and Su Xinghui disappears without a trace.

Until three years later, when he sees a girl standing before a fake meteorite on a street in Morocco...
