Endless Journey

[Research complete, full draft in progress. I'll start once I've built up enough advance interest!]

In her second year studying abroad in Italy, Li Tang was strapped for cash and finally joined the ranks of part-time tour guides and local guides.

Her first booking over winter break was a high-paying job that left her both green with envy and utterly baffled.

Her client was an Italian-English boy about to turn nineteen: fair-skinned, slender, handsome, reluctant to speak his mother tongue, but able to speak Chinese, and rather aloof.

He wanted Li Tang to travel with him for the last month of his eighteenth year, visiting eleven European countries and even attempting to cross Russia to reach China.

It was a nice idea, but the trip would be difficult, and the boy seemed strange in every way.

But there was no helping it. The client was paying far too much. Hesitating for even a second would be disrespectful to money.

Li Tang, talented and fearless, with incredible fighting skills: I'm in!

Li Tang thought it would be a long and bizarre journey.

Only at the end of their travels did she learn his true intention: a tragic, desperate purpose that no one else knew about.

P.S. Happy ending, one-on-one romance.
