Our Whole Sect Survives by Answering Questions

The Fengluo Mountains have produced remarkable people generation after generation, and this generation has three especially bizarre ones.

First is the aloof immortal lord Zhi Chuanxing. Everyone thinks he's just a genius sword cultivator: powerful, but rigid and inflexible, a sharp blade for fighting ghosts and gods.

When the ghosts and gods descended upon "Ten Miles of Lake and Light" once more, everyone panicked to discover that Zhi Chuanxing, who had always been the first to charge into battle, was nowhere to be seen. Instead, he was leisurely farming and raising cats on the mountain.

Zhi Chuanxing: "It's raining."

Everyone, delighted: "Time to kill ghosts and gods?"

Zhi Chuanxing, calmly: "Time to turn the soil."

Everyone: "..."

Fengluo Mountain is doomed with him in charge!

Second is Bu Tianxing, delicate and frail, a once-in-a-century genius at divination, with a perfect memory and a natural gift for studying.

Seeing the ghosts and gods obediently following Bu Tianxing, everyone asked in astonishment, "Why are they listening so well?"

With a voice as faint as a thread, Bu Tianxing replied with a hint of pride, "I'm good at every kind of trickery!"

Everyone: "..."

You learn all the wrong things! Fengluo Mountain is doomed by tomorrow!

Third is Xia Jichu, a spoiled good-for-nothing with no spiritual root at all, yet an outrageous attitude to match. Everyone dislikes her, but Xia Jichu has powerful connections, so no one dares offend her.

Everyone rolled their eyes. "You have access to every heavenly treasure, but you still can't grow a single spiritual root. What a waste!"

Xia Jichu munched on a watermelon grown by Zhi Chuanxing and pointed at them one by one. "You have no respect for fidelity and like married women; you defy all proper order and have a crush on your master..."

The others exploded. "Lies!"

Xia Jichu pulled half a handful of melon seeds from her pocket. "I'm no good at cultivation, but I'm an expert at gossip. I've been hanging around all the major sects for years, and I'll strip you all down to your underwear~"

Everyone: "..."

Fengluo Mountain is doomed already!

Whether Fengluo Mountain would be doomed or not, the three fellow disciples didn't know. All they knew was that if they failed the System's exam, they were doomed!

After learning that they weren't saviors and would even meet gruesome deaths in this world, the three of them worked hard on their tests, aiming for good grades and a chance to change their fates.

1. The story is set in a fictional continent called "Ten Miles of Lake and Light." There are five major sects on the continent:

White Jade Above the Sky (Capital), Fengluo in the East, Cangwu Hall in the West, Penglai Realm in the South, and Black-Clad Alley in the North.

2. There are twelve cultivation levels in total:

Mystic Realm: Tianshu, Tianxuan, Tianji, Tianquan, Yuheng, Kaiyang, Yaoguang

Heavenly Realm: Taibai, Chonghua, Chenxing, Yinghuo, Tianchong

(It's fine if you can't remember them. Just remember that the main group is the strongest.)

Theme: Though but a glimmer, we can kindle a blazing sun.
