[This was an accidentally opened advance listing.]
He is Mizutani Tatsu, an unemployed programmer waiting for his next job. With only a superficial knowledge of the Detective Conan source material, he decides to become a streamer for a Detective Conan-style game.
"Streaming a fight with Vodka for the chance to drive for Gin," "streaming a climb from the bottom of the ranks to Assistant Commissioner," "streaming a cooking showdown between the Poirot Cafe and Amuro Tooru." After watching all the wild stunts pulled by the big-name streamers, Mizutani Tatsu falls into deep thought.
Maybe he could stream himself breaking through the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department's firewall? Wouldn't the game moderators drag him out and shoot him?
At first, there are only a handful of people in his stream.
But things soon take a dramatic turn. Thanks to the bug-finding buff that comes with being a programmer, Mizutani Tatsu discovers all sorts of outrageous bugs, and all kinds of absurd things start happening.
When Mizutani Tatsu streams himself exploiting a bug:
[Hey, everyone! I just found this bug. As long as you charge at this wall at ten meters per second, you can run right through it!]
As Mizutani Tatsu rushes toward the wall, a little detective suddenly appears and grabs him around the legs. He falls flat on his face.
The little detective declares righteously, "I won't let any criminal die in front of me..."
Mizutani Tatsu: ??? Is it possible you've got the wrong guy?
When Mizutani Tatsu streams himself getting a haircut:
Unaware of the bug in the shampoo basin, Mizutani Tatsu gets shoved headfirst into it by the barber, and only his lonely head emerges on a certain rooftop.
The two people facing off with guns on the rooftop see Mizutani Tatsu, his hair hanging loose, and both turn their guns on him.
Mizutani Tatsu raises both hands in surrender. "I really was just washing my hair... Uh, I mean, there's a blond guy behind you."
From then on, Mizutani Tatsu is hailed by his viewers as the bug-zone streamer, and the game company invites him to become a programmer who fixes bugs in this world.
Mizutani Tatsu: I've got a job now! Double the pay, double the happiness!
Until one day, Mizutani Tatsu falls out of a bed in the game world, passes straight through the floor, and lands on the bed of a certain blond guy.
Mizutani Tatsu awkwardly climbs out of the guy's arms and asks sincerely, "Bro, could you throw me straight up at that ceiling at ten meters per second? That way I can get home."
The certain blond guy: ???
Reader's guide:
The pairing is Amuro Tooru.
A silly, fun story. The entire Police Academy group gets saved.
There isn't much of the Red-versus-Black conflict.
Theme: These outrageous bugs are best avoided.
Look, it looks good, turn the page, md only has one chapter (Mask of Pain)
Hahahahaha I want to know how the NPCs in the game understand bugs
