This Planet Is Killing Us

"Mayday! Mayday! Mayday!

This is the starship Bacterium. We were caught in the gravitational pull of a bizarre giant planet and forced to land.

The planet's surface is made of the bones of unknown organisms, and corpses are still pouring out from the planet's core.

There are lower life forms here, but... their genetic sequences are highly similar to ours. What connection do we have to this planet?

The advance team's signal was lost underground.

To get the ore we need to restart the starship and leave this hellhole, the other scientists and I have no choice but to venture underground ourselves.

Wait! What am I looking at?

Something is peeling off the rock wall. It's translucent and flesh-pink, like a giant tumor. Disgusting. Tiny tentacles are sprouting from its base. It's writhing, it's alive... I think it sees me...

It's catching up!"
