The Female General's Stockholm Lover

[A gentle, refined male lead who placed third in the palace exam vs. a general heroine who is a master angler]

Male third-place scholar! Female top scholar! A literary man and a martial woman! This is a nontraditional gender-bending romance, so make sure you don't mistake it for something else.

Young General Li is proud and spirited, a distinguished military star who rides across the frontier and sleeps on the battlefield.

Grand Academician Meng has a mind full of books and a pen that can pour out a thousand words. He's an aloof, proud newcomer at court, rising swiftly through the ranks.

The grand academician, who usually wouldn't give her the time of day, downed three bowls of wine and got drunk as a cat. Beneath the garden veranda, he grabbed her sleeve.

The next day, Meng Jingnan emerged from the general's room in disheveled clothes. From then on, they clashed at court and traded barbs behind the scenes.

In short: This is the story of a general with unusual tastes who forces herself on an aloof, untouchable beauty, only to get bitten back time and again.
