The Black Widow Growth System [KotoRan]

The Beautiful Girl Growth System is a motivational system dedicated to helping beautiful girls succeed and reach the pinnacle of life.

It binds itself to Lan and decides to help her succeed.

For example, she could become the world's richest person, the ruler of an evil underground organization, or the president of America (though apparently you can't do that if you weren't born there). In that case, she could become the prime minister of Japan instead. In short, some similarly cool and successful person.

It asks its Host to choose.

System: What's your dream job? Tell me loud and clear!

Lan: Get married after working for a few years after college, become a housewife, and live a happy, ordinary life.

The System thinks seriously for a moment.

System: Great, I understand!

Ding! Your System has been upgraded. You are now bound to the Black Widow Growth System!

Lan: ?

System: I was thinking about it all wrong. If you work hard on your own, no matter what job you choose, even with my help, it'll take ten or twenty years to succeed. The unorthodox route is much faster!

Lan: What's the unorthodox route?

System: First, we'll marry a rich person. When he dies, all his money will naturally be yours.

System: Next, we'll marry the leader of an underground organization. When he dies, his organization will naturally be yours, too.

System: Finally, we'll marry the president. When he dies, his political legacy will naturally be yours!

System: It's so easy! You're about to succeed! I can already picture you, Host, commanding the world in a truly inspiring scene!

System: Now, let's begin our glorious first step! I've already arranged for you to marry the richest person nearby who's about to die. Host, let's go help him along, inherit all his assets, and take the first step toward our extraordinary life!

Lan: ?

Gin, who is only injured, nowhere near dying, and very hard to kill: ?
