After transmigrating into a cultivation novel, Ji Yu had planned to work hard and make her sect thrive. But she soon realized something was off about it.
Her fellow transmigrator, the senior brother, spent every day leaping off cliffs in an attempt to exploit bugs and obtain peerless secret manuals. Her junior brothers and sisters were tiny, yet unbelievably strong: after one meal, not a single piece of tableware would survive. Her master was a renowned alchemy cultivator, but his greatest talent wasn't making pills. It was blowing up the furnace.
Looking at their penniless sect, Ji Yu had just one thought.
I'm tired. Let's just destroy everything.
To afford a proper meal and upgrade their weapons, Ji Yu returned to her old trade and started writing fanfiction about the three main characters.
Today, she wrote about the aloof Buddhist cultivator whose worldly ties remained unbroken, getting all touchy-feely with a woman in the back courtyard.
Tomorrow, she wrote that the peerless Sword Venerable had been heartbroken by his fellow disciple when he broke through, and that the disciple was now stuck in a desperate, groveling quest to win him back.
The day after, she wrote that the brutal Demon Lord had once been a little crybaby who followed a young girl around, sobbing so hard that snot and tears ran down his face.
After all that, her fanfiction quickly took the entire cultivation world by storm, and Ji Yu raked in a fortune.
Her senior brother cried tears of gratitude: "Xiao Yu, this is the first time I've eaten my fill since I transmigrated here."
The next day, Ji Yu went out to deliver a new batch of fanfiction books, only to run into enemies she'd offended before she even made it out the door.
She immediately invoked the main characters' names: "Lay a finger on me, and the Demon Lord will come after you!"
Just then, the Demon Lord in the teahouse happened to look her way, smiling with ill intent.
Ji Yu kept bluffing: "If you dare touch me, the Sword Venerable will never forgive you!"
Before she could finish, the Sword Venerable appeared behind her with a light step. "What did you say?"
Ji Yu steeled herself. "I'm the Buddhist cultivator's beloved."
The next second, lotus petals drifted down from the sky. "Benefactor, you must not speak such nonsense."
The System popped up to make things worse: "Phase One upgrade complete. Host, please begin the next phase of your mission."
Provoke the three main characters, or win their hearts.
Ji Yu: "???" No matter which one I choose, won't I just die even faster?
