[Drama 3] Across a Thousand Mountains and Rivers

A fanfic based on the Three-Body TV drama.

As Shi Qiang and Wang Miao are swept along by two worlds and head toward their destinies with no turning back, a little bird unexpectedly falls from the other side and crashes into the track of fate, knocking it askew.

A great cycle of love and hope begins.

An idea I'm parking here for now. Updates will come whenever inspiration strikes.

This isn't really a no-CP story. There are several pairings, with both one-sided and mutual feelings, but it's hard to categorize because of the characters' genders and the weight they carry in the plot.

This is more or less a Three-Body TV drama fanfic. I wrapped a hodgepodge of dumplings around a few drops of bedtime inspiration. I personally think it's a romance-brained story, so I only put a Three-Body tag in the keywords. There are alternate settings and plot holes everywhere, and all kinds of scenes and pairings might show up. This is purely for my own enjoyment, and the range of things that might need warnings is enormous. Listing them all would be too spoilery, so just assume anything goes. Here you may find, among other things: Schrodinger's ethics and morality, immorality in every form and from every angle, nonhumans who are inhuman in a certain sense, I give birth to myself (X), Yang Dong as an unofficial Wallfacer, narrative boundary-breaking and worldbuilding cheats, a sunny fitness enthusiast who is the other man, and much, much more.

Once it's finished, I'll add all the character-name tags and unleash chaos, hahaha!

If you've found this story, it's pure fate. If you don't like it, please just close the page and pretend you never saw it. Please, please!

One last thing to emphasize: Shi-Wang will not be split up, reversed, or given a bad ending!!!

Theme: A chaotic stew of worldbuilding, with a happy ending for humanity.
