[Warning: Anything could appear in this story. Readers with strict moral standards or strong preferences about romantic pairings, please don't put yourselves at risk by reading.]
Bailing, stand up straight! In the Celestial Realm, no one but the God of War deserves to have you kneel!
What kind of thing are you, the Celestial Emperor, to think you can "judge" Bailing? You usually do nothing in the name of governing by noninterference, and only start blabbering when something goes wrong. Is that supposed to make you sound eloquent?
What use are you, the Celestial Emperor? Are you just a decoration?
If you're going to be a decoration, then stay still forever! Who are you trying to disgust by showing up now?!
What have you ever done for peace among the Three Realms? Did you send your son off to be sacrificed? Is that worth a damn?
When facing the Asura, enemies you couldn't defeat, what did you say? "What can we do?" You're a pack of useless fools! Listen up: Bailing has wronged plenty of individuals, dead and alive, but he has nothing to regret or feel guilty about when it comes to the greater good, especially the Celestial Realm! Anyone who has enjoyed the benefits of a peaceful era under the Celestial Realm's dominance over the past thousand years has no right to judge Bailing!
And Bailing, don't relax! I'm not speaking up for you. I'm speaking up for justice and reason, and that doesn't mean you'll get off scot-free! In heaven and on earth, throughout all time, the person you've wronged the most is Luo Hou Ji Du! As an enemy, you could have killed him with one blow, but you couldn't treat your friend like that, tormenting and exploiting him for a thousand years! Dismembering him, using him to destroy his own people... Is that what the leader of the gods is supposed to do?
Stop being so consumed by romance that you're ready to die for it! Go farm, build infrastructure, advance education and technology across the Three Realms, and save the people through action!
"Immortals, demons, and humans each follow separate paths. The Three Realms you seek will never come to be!"
"Our paths are separate now, but one day, we'll all be the same."
Luo Chen, the Agarwood, was forced to become an all-around, overworked corporate slave and an overpowered protagonist.
She fought her way through every obstacle, transformed people's thinking, advanced society, challenged the Heavenly Dao, saved all living beings, and at last attained the Great Dao and reached the pinnacle of life.
"Oh, come on, it's not that grand. I just helped every kind of 'love' find its home in the end. A mere happy ending, just a tiny contribution!"
This is a fanfic of the TV adaptation of Love and Redemption, with an original female protagonist... at least, she considers herself female. She's not purely good, and there's a trap in the "declaration" above.
A short story with a very fast pace and a huge amount of information. There'll be lots and lots of made-up nonsense, but the writing can be a little rambling, with frequent flashbacks, backtracking, and digressions.
Extremely OOC!!!
The female protagonist is the main character of this story. Using a modern person's sense of time to manage a thousand years of ancient gods and demons, she becomes a ceiling-level, almost omnipotent cheat, creating her own power-ups and serving as her own strongest backer. Her combat strength (for now) is The Outcast, Luo Hou Ji Du, and then everyone else in the Three Realms, though she doesn't know it herself. Heh. She is the Agarwood in the figurative sense, as well as literal chaos (a madwoman).
Most non-original characters and plotlines are drawn from the TV adaptation.
Not recommended for fans devoted to Yu Sifeng's mother or his solo fans. This story won't torture him for the sake of it, nor will it go out of its way to coddle him.
But no matter who else gets broken up, Xuanji x Sifeng stays together! The God of War and Xixuan are gone. Even if they regain their memories from past lives, they're still Xuanji and Sifeng. The first meeting of the tenth life is locked in, and the key has been dealt with by the Great Sun Golden Flame!
I'll try to make this an especially satisfying wish-fulfillment story, and there shouldn't be any unresolved heartbreak. I don't plan to put "Love and Redemption" in the title before the story is complete, so anyone who finds this must be an old hand who knows how to use protagonist search, supporting character search, and advanced search. XDDD
Theme: For all living beings, and for that one person too.
Brother Haochen, something is wrong with you (~_~
Luo Chen and Luo Hu Ji are both old friends (?▽?)
Looks good! Come on, keep chasing!
Does Luo Chen look like Luohu Jidu?
Does the heroine have something to do with Luo Huji?
