After Failing to Stop the Villain from Turning Evil

Su Miao transmigrated into a novel as a cannon-fodder character: the God of Light, Aersilia.

At this point, the story hadn't begun, the male lead hadn't been born, and the book's biggest villain, the future God of Darkness, Wusu, was merely a priest in the Temple of Light.

System: "Host, your task is to stop him from turning evil. I strongly recommend using your love to influence him, warm him, and redeem him."

Su Miao pondered. "Are you sure that'll work?"

System: "It should... probably?"

To make absolutely sure, Su Miao decided to handle the problem his own way.

He gouged out Wusu's eyes, tore out his heart, drank his blood, and forcibly ripped the newly formed divine core of darkness from his body.

The boy was in excruciating pain, yet he never made a sound. He silently and stoically gazed at the lofty god above him.

Then, on the day he was expelled from the temple, he wept uncontrollably, great tears rolling down his cheeks...

Su Miao remained unmoved. He kicked him into a distant otherworld and severed the passage between the two worlds.

System: ...

After that, Su Miao settled down to sleep, intending to return to his original world when the time came.

Unexpectedly, he was woken up halfway through.

Those damned heretics were partying in his temple, exploring his tomb, tearing down his altar, and taking his offerings...

Was he supposed to put up with that?

Ignoring his weakened body, Su Miao forcibly descended into the world.

"Who sent you?"

"The Great Ruler, Wusu, God of Knowledge and Wisdom."

Su Miao froze.

How had he come back?

Thinking of the main villain's ruthless ways and sinister methods in the original novel, Su Miao shuddered and quickly turned to flee.

But it was already too late.

A chain shot out of the void, engraved with blood curses and runes, and coiled around his wrist.

The man pressed close, pinning him in the crook of his arm. Cold fingers brushed the back of his neck as he chuckled in his ear, his voice icy to the bone:

"At last, I can serve you, my God of Light!"
