Anyone with a talent score above 20 could claim a free Awakening Potion. Drinking one gave them a chance to awaken as either a Beast Tamer or a Card Maker. Fu Cheng was an ordinary man living on Earth in the twenty-first century. He had just graduated from the animal husbandry program at Qian Country’s First University, and, on his advisor’s recommendation, had landed a high-paying job. An SSS-rank Beast Tamer could wipe out an entire star system with a wave of the hand, while even an SSS-rank Card Maker could hardly avoid getting caught off guard by a bullet. Then Fu Cheng appeared out of nowhere, and the entire balance of power began to change dramatically. At first, Fu Cheng helped the Mu family because they were the wealthy family that provided annual aid to Morningstar. As someone from Earth, he believed in repaying even the smallest kindness with overwhelming generosity, and maybe offering himself in return (crossed out).
