Every Workday Is Fun

April 7, 2023. The weather is pretty nice.

I heard the Seventh Division is moving. A dragon egg hatched underground, and the hatchling cracked the office floor tiles when it burst out of its shell. It also broke the newly purchased water cooler. The Seventh Division staff took turns feeding it snacks, and its wildly scattered dragonfire burned the pennant for Outstanding Department off the wall of honor. The boss called the Logistics Department to come fix things. After checking the relevant regulations, the Logistics staff concluded that repairing the office would disturb the dragon's nest, an offense punishable by at least seven years in prison and a fine of five million. After weighing the pros and cons, the Seventh Division was temporarily moved into the office next door to ours.

They secretly smuggled a hatchling along with them.

Going to work really is a lot of fun.
