Exiled to Ningguta

This is a story about an official's family in ancient times being exiled to Ningguta. Male lead: So, I was exiled. My family was confiscated, my father died, my fiancée remarried, and the future looked bleak in the freezing cold. Then I suddenly ran into a [fake] bandit woman. She's silly, greedy, lovesick, and clingy. What else can I do? Of course I'll farm, make money, cook delicious food, and cherish my wife, making sure she never feels wronged in this life. Female lead: Hehehe, I think life in Ningguta is pretty great. The snow and ice are romantic, the fish and porpoises are plump, and besides, I have you. A few things to note: 1. The female lead is the one who pursues him, but the male lead will treasure her. 2. This lazy author is pretty laid-back. I'll try not to miss updates, but there won't be any update sprees. 3. When writing, this lazy author is a socially anxious typing slave with no emotions. I read the comments, then quietly go back to writing. 4. Though I've borrowed place names, dynasties, and other elements, I'll alter some historical facts to better serve the story (and because of my own ignorance). Any inconsistencies can be chalked up to this being an imaginary setting! 5. I haven't thought of anything else yet. Theme: Even when trapped in difficult circumstances, you can still carve out a place for yourself and find love.
