The starship was damaged, and a huge, mechanical-sheened, double-winged alien creature rolled out, its wings tightly folded around itself.
Number 071 absentmindedly wiped its enormous compound eyes with a foreleg. A new world?

On his twentieth day in another world, 071 learned that humans lived in a large compound.
There had to be stone pillars and a gate outside, with a wooden plaque on the gate bearing the words: XX Gate.
071 decided to adapt to local customs, learn human language, gather materials, dismantle his ship, and build an XX Gate of his own.
