My Years Working in Journey to the West

Timid, adorable mango spirit x Arrogant Great Sage who dotes on his wife

[A Mang] knew he was unlucky, but never imagined he could be this unlucky.

After finally taking human form, he found a job at the Dragon Palace in the Eastern Sea. But before he’d even worked there for two months, someone smashed up the Dragon Palace?

[A Mang] eventually made his way to Heaven and became a little immortal sweeping floors. But after just one month on the job, Heaven was torn apart too!

Working for a living really is unreliable!

[A Mang] gritted his teeth, descended to the mortal realm, claimed a mountain, and declared himself king. He led a band of little demons in growing crops and making money. Just as their ranks were growing and prosperity seemed within reach, the monkey who loved to “smash, loot, and rob” showed up at his door.

[A Mang] clutched his Qiankun bag tightly. “I have no money, no magic treasures, and no spiritual herbs!”

The monkey burst out laughing. “I don’t want money, magic treasures, or spiritual herbs!”

I only want you!
