The Legend of Qin / Nine Songs of the Moving Heavens: Let History Record Neither Rise nor Fall

I'm so frustrated that when people transmigrate into the world of Jian Wang 3, they never bring anyone from the Lingxue Pavilion along. So I'm taking matters into my own hands and writing one myself.

Ji Jinyan, disciple of Ji Bieqing and junior martial sister of Ye Weixiao, was a student of Wugou Terrace with the codename "Blood-Covered Asura." In the fourth year of Tianbao, she officially joined the Lingxue Pavilion and became a member of Ji Bieqing's direct squad, "Chang'an Nostalgia." In the fourteenth year of Tianbao, the An Lushan Rebellion broke out. As the Emperor fled west in his carriage, Jinyan was ordered to defend the imperial palace. She fought until she died, exhausted, holding back the rebels.

It felt as if she had awoken from a long dream. When Jinyan regained consciousness, she had transmigrated a thousand years into the past. Before her stood a dignified, imposing young man: Ying Zheng, who had just ascended the throne.

The people of the Lingxue Pavilion are their ruler's pieces on a chessboard, the Son of Heaven's blade. Their lives exist only to protect the realm and its people. Since she didn't know whether she could return to her own world, Ji Jinyan was willing, until then, to become the sharp blade in the hands of Ying Zheng, the emperor who would rule through the ages. At the imperial command, she would remain loyal even unto death.

This is a romance for women, okay? You can all place your bets on whoever shows up, except Brother Zheng. He's better suited to spending his whole life with the realm or memorials, so he and Jinyan will have a familial relationship as sovereign and subject. As for everyone else, I'm open to anything.

Theme: In the turmoil at the end of the Qin dynasty, what had the common people done to deserve this?
